Control Loop Foundation Class

It was my pleasure to co-teach with Darrell Dray the Control Loop Foundation class (9025) the week of May 21st, 2012. The class was held in Emerson Process Management’s Education Center located in Round Rock, TX – just outside of Austin, TX. This 4 ½ day class is based on the Control Loop Foundation book. As part of the class the students perform the 19 workshops included in the book.

In the May 21st class, the students had varied backgrounds and work for major pulp and paper, refining and chemical companies. Below is a class picture.

Emerson Process Management moved to a new facility in Round Rock, TX earlier this year. This was the first time I had a chance to teach in the new education center class rooms. The class rooms are well equipped with each student having his/her own work environment to perform workshops. Also, the education center includes a dining area – shown below – where lunch and snacks are provided each day.

If you would like to attend the next Control Loop Foundation class (9025) or learn more about the other classes that are provided by the education department, then a description of available classes and class schedule are posted on-line at the education department’s web site. Also, at this web site you can register on-line for a class.
